Firefly Creative Educational Classes: DREAM BIG This Fall! 🎭✨
At Firefly Creative, we believe every child has a story to tell and a stage to shine on! Our educational theatre classes provide young performers with the opportunity to learn, grow, and create through a semester-long musical theatre experience. Whether your student is homeschooled or in traditional school, we have a program designed just for them!
This fall, students will explore the magic of acting, singing, movement, and stagecraft as they work towards a fully staged production. Each class is designed to build confidence, foster creativity, and develop teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.
For homeschool families, this class can be counted as a fine arts elective or drama credit, making it both a fun and educational part of your curriculum.
Ages: 2nd grade – High School Seniors
Cost: $400 (Early Bird discount is $350 if registering before June 16)
Experience Level: All experience levels are welcome!

Fridays at Firefly: The Music Man Jr. (Homeschool Program)

No class: October 10 (Fall Break) & November 28 (Thanksgiving)
Mandatory Performance Preview: November 14 during our Firefly Fall Fundraiser (Rain date: November 21) - Event starts at 4 p.m. and ends around 8 p.m.
Final Performance: December 5 at 12:00 PM
Join us for a homeschool-exclusive production of The Music Man Jr., a classic Broadway favorite. Students will grow in acting, singing, and movement as they explore themes of leadership, honesty, and transformation through music and story. For homeschool families, this class can be counted as a fine arts elective or drama credit—making it both a fun and educational part of your curriculum.
Firefly Saturdays: Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr.
Saturdays | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
No class: September 27, October 11 (Fall Break) & November 29 (Thanksgiving)
Mandatory Performance Preview: November 14 during our Firefly Fall Fundraiser (Rain date: November 21) - Event starts at 4 p.m. and ends around 8 p.m.
Final Performance: December 6 at 3:30 PM
This musical adventure features Disney favorites from The Little Mermaid, Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Frozen, Encanto, and more. Students of all experience levels will develop performance skills while celebrating courage and the power of dreams.
Class Structure & Expectations
Each week will focus on a key pillar of musical theatre—acting, singing, dancing, and storytelling—culminating in a full production. We expect students to act like professionals and support one another as a team.
Attendance: Participation is expected weekly. Notify us at least three weeks in advance of any known absences by emailing oakleyrweddle@gmail.com. After Thanksgiving, absences are only excused for illness or emergencies.
Performances & Tickets
Final Performances:
The Music Man Jr. – December 5 at 12:00 PM
Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr. – December 6 at 3:30 PM
Each family will receive six tickets as part of tuition. Additional tickets will be available at the door for $5 each.
Photos & Videos:
Parents may take photos during rehearsals. A professional video of the performance will be available for purchase.
